Zazie, Lychener Str. 24, 10437 Berlin, Germany

A new fab French restaurant entered the scene. While it belongs to the Belgian/ French connection around themroc & les valseues, we found it even better than the other two. The concept similar: young & wild chefs create gourmet menus for fair prices.

As a starter we chose beetroot carpaccio with grilled goat cheese (6 EUR) - lots of passion and focus on details for such a small price.

We continued with real tender lamb chops on a variety of root vegetables (16,50 EUR) that make you an addict.

And our friends chose the perfect grilled sea bream fillet in lobster sauce on polenta with green pees and seaweed (16,50 EUR).

It's always the details...

Takumi Nine, Pappelallee 19, (entrance Raumerstrasse) 10437 Berlin, Germany

Think of big bowls of hearty Japanese Ramen soup, these kind of loaded soups, where every tiny piece of vegetable kept its unique taste, fresh and of high quality - no idea how they do this little corncob  - that is a wonderful little thing.

Minus: Hell, Yeah. Having ramen restaurants in Düsseldorf and Munich, the owners unfortunately brought Munich prices to Berlin. The soups range from 9 to 15,00 EUR. Our chicken soup was about 9,00 EUR. A lot of people left before ordering. But all that stayed - mainly Japanese folks - were all real fans.
